At RSALearnership.co.za, our goal is to publish clear, accurate, and practical guidance about South African learnerships, internships, bursaries, and entry-level jobs—so readers can understand eligibility, documents needed, and the safest way to apply.

This Editorial Policy explains how we create, review, update, and correct content on this site.

1) What we publish (and what we don’t)

We publish:

Learnership, internship, apprenticeship, bursary and entry-level job guides

Application checklists (documents, steps, closing dates when available)

Scam-prevention warnings and safety tips

Career-readiness resources (CV tips, interview prep, workplace basics)

We don’t publish:

“Guaranteed placement” promises

Paid application services that ask for money to apply

Fake listings or “apply via WhatsApp” shortcuts

Personal data requests beyond what an official employer/SETA would normally ask for

2) Our sourcing standards

We aim to base each opportunity and guide on reliable sources, such as:

The employer’s official careers page / official communication

Official SETA pages and recognised institutions

Government or public-sector portals (when relevant)

Direct announcements from verified company channels

When we cannot confirm a detail (e.g., stipend amount, exact closing date), we clearly label it as “Not stated by the employer/source” rather than guessing.

3) Verification and accuracy checks

Before publishing, we try to confirm:

The employer/organisation name and the nature of the opportunity

Basic eligibility (age, location, qualification level, citizenship/residency if required)

The official application method (link/email/portal) and what applicants must prepare

Common scam signals (fees, suspicious domains, unclear contact details)

If a post includes instructions, we write them in a step-by-step format so readers can follow the official method.

4) Updates, freshness, and time-sensitive content

Opportunities can change quickly. When possible, we update posts to reflect:

Closing date changes

Updated application links/portals

New requirements or documents requested

Whether an intake appears closed or inactive

We may add a “Last updated” line in posts. However, always verify directly with the official employer/portal before applying.

5) Corrections policy

If we publish something incorrect (e.g., a broken link, wrong date, missing requirement), we aim to correct it as soon as possible.

How we handle corrections:

We fix the content and, when appropriate, add a short note such as:
“Correction (date): Updated closing date / corrected application link.”

If a listing appears unsafe or misleading, we may remove it or replace it with a safety notice.

To report an issue, email us via our Contact page and include:

The page URL

What seems wrong

A source or screenshot (if possible)

6) Editorial independence and advertising

We aim to keep our content independent. If advertising is displayed (including through Google services such as AdSense), ads do not influence our editorial decisions. We do not accept payments to publish “guaranteed” job placements.

If we publish any sponsored content in the future, it will be clearly labelled as sponsored/paid. (Google Help)

7) Affiliate links (if used)

If we ever use affiliate links (for example, to a course provider), we will:

Disclose it clearly on the page

Recommend only products/services we believe are useful for job seekers

Never link affiliate offers as a “requirement” to apply for a job/learnership

8) User-generated content (comments)

If comments are enabled, we moderate them. Spam, promotional links, hate, harassment, or misleading “application” instructions will be removed.

We do this because publishers are responsible for user-generated content on pages where ads appear. (Google Help)

9) How content is produced (including AI tools)

We may use tools (including AI) to help with formatting, summaries, or drafting. Regardless of tools used, we aim to ensure every post is:

Helpful and people-first

Clear about “who wrote it” and “how it was created”

Reviewed for accuracy, safety, and clarity before publishing (Google for Developers)

10) Contact

If you spot an error, a suspicious listing, or a broken link, please contact us using the Contact page on this website.
